Longest wait between albums
“Long awaited new album” takes on a whole new meaning with some artists. Next month, Portishead release their third album since 1997. Elton John’s Candle In The Wind 1997 was the Number 1 single at the time, which will give you some indication of how long ago it was. And Queen are heading in to the studio to record their first album in 13 years. But they’re not the only ones to work at a snail’s pace…
